I’m getting braces and from what I’ve overheard they are gg to be put on nt appointment. I’ve gone eg pre-braces extraction. I’ll 4 bicuspids removed, and from some sources I’ve heard that braces can be put on immediately following. Is this common? And will have the option to have them put on immediately following if it’s possible? Thanks in advance.
None of my friends have had their braces put on immediately after extraction, but they’ve all had separate dentists/orthodontists to do the job, while my orthodontist is also dentist.
Yes, they are getting ready to do almost the same thing to my son. He has an impacted tooth up by his nose!!!! They are going to put his braces on the same day they pull that tooth. They asked us if we wanted to wait until the following week, my son said just do it all at once, they said okay.
