Can you start teeth whitening the day braces come off?

Im getting my braces off wednesday and then im leaving for school on saturday.
If buy some white strips, can start using them the day get my braces off? my teeth to look good in time for school.

    When I got mine off about 5 years ago they got cleaned and pretty white, but you probably can use those strips.
